⚡️🇫🇷🚨 In France, a cyber attack hit the refrigeration systems of the national agency responsible for the collection and distribution of blood EFS , compromising the settings of the fridge cells in three facilities.

🔻The hackers would have breached the control systems of an external supplier, remotely changing the temperatures set for the storage of blood and plasma samples intended for transfusions, raising them from -30 °C to +110 °C.

🔻According to the EFS, the cells would not have reached the temperatures set by the hackers thanks to the timely intervention of the technicians. No loss of blood products or health consequences have been recorded.
